Time management

What time do you get up in the morning?  How much time do you have in the morning for things you need to get done?  I have to leave the house to get to work and I don’t have much time in between waking up and walking out the door.  At some point in time I stopped being a morning person that hit the floor at 5:00 AM and decided it was best that I sleep as long as possible.

The next two weeks I’m working on managing my time more efficiently and getting myself back to a better routine.  I’m going for better habits.  That means waking up earlier so I have more time to get stuff done.  Oh how I dread this, but it has to be done.

There are certain things I have to do every day and some things I do every week.  This week I’m going to concentrate on my daily routines.  From cutesy printables to picture frames glued together, I’ve found so many ways to track my routine.  I need to stay away from Pinterest .

I’m going to use my handy, dandy spiral notebook.  Each day will have its own sheet of paper. I’m writing down what I have to do each day and what time I need do it.  I’m doing this as I go through the day.

I can see now this will be tough for me.  First things first means I need to find out what my bedtime should be.  Have you used the bedtime calculator at sleepyti.me?  Put in the time you need to wake up and it will tell you the best times for you to go to bed.  You can also put in the time you think you’ll fall asleep and it will figure the best times for you to wake up.  I like this tool and keep in on my Links page.

I guess it’s time to find my spiral notebook.  I know it’s around here somewhere.
